My journey into the world of digital media began unexpectedly but has since evolved into a passion that defines my professional trajectory. It started in middle school when I joined the after-school yearbook club. It was there that I first laid my hands on a DSLR camera.

As I transitioned into high school, my love for photography and storytelling continued. I enrolled in the yearbook class, and immersing myself in any opportunity to shoot, especially sports. Investing in my craft early on, I acquired a Canon Rebel T6. By my senior year, I found myself leading as Editor-in-Chief, steering the creative vision of our yearbook.

The unexpected twist of Covid-19 altered my path. Amidst the stay-at-home order, I found myself completing the yearbook from my living room. I graduated high school and attended Coastal Carolina University where pursued my interest in Marine science for about 6 weeks.

It wasn't long before I realized where my true interest was and that was capturing amazing moments. With a pivot towards Sports Communication and the addition of minors in Photography and Film Production, I embarked on a journey that felt undeniably right. Seizing opportunities, I found myself behind the lens as a student worker for Coastal Sports Network's creative content team, gradually expanding my skills into videography.

I found myself stepping into the role of content team student supervisor during my junior year. Recognizing an opportunity to accelerate my path, I embraced the challenge of graduating in three years.

Summer became a time of growth and exploration, as I honed my technical skills and sought out new avenues to showcase my talent. I improved my photography skills working for Glossy Finish all summer before moving to New York to work for Cornell University.

And now, here I am, fully immersed in Cornell Athletics, excited to continue my journey of growth and creativity. As I navigate the ever-changing landscape of digital media, I remain in my commitment to crafting compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
